Haotian LIU

I am currently a Senior Software Engineer with Meta, Inc. I am working on WhatsApp Client Foundation which provides client End-to-end encryption (E2EE) ability to WhatsApp and other Meta family of apps.

From 2015 to 2020, I worked as a Principal Software Engineer with Cadence Design Systems, Inc. I worked on the core delay calculation engine used by Tempus Timing Signoff Solution and Innovus Implementation System.

I received my Ph.D. degree (in 2014) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, from the University of Hong Kong, and the B. ENG. degree (in 2010) in Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics, from Tsinghua University. My Ph.D. supervisor is Dr. Ngai WONG.

In 2015, I was a Post-doctoral Fellow with the Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the University of Hong Kong. I was a visiting scholar in the Research Lab of Electronics (RLE), Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in 2014. My advisor was Prof. Luca DANIEL.
